Acting jointly with Impey & Co of Stockport, Fairhurst Estates have agreed a deal to secure the first unit in the North West for up and coming new tool hire business, Premier Hire Northwest Ltd. The owners and directors of Premier Hire Northwest Ltd have a long working relationship with members of the Fairhurst Estates team and are set to become a new force to be reckoned with in the tool hire business in the North West region due to their numerous contacts and welath of experience. A three year lease was agreed on 8,000 sq ft of warehousing accommodation on the Green Lane trading Estate in Stockport.

Acting on behalf of retained clients Condie Investments, Fairhurst Estates carried out the project management of the mixed residential scheme providing 16 residential apartments and circa 4,000 sq ft commercial space. This space has now been successfully let to Tesco convenience stores on a long term lease. A beautiful mosaic runs along one external wall and was designed by children attending the local junior school.

Fairhurst Estates originally acquired the freehold of the property from receivers and organised a comprehensive refurbishment prior to this letting.

Fairhurst Estates initially advised Driving Standards Agency in relation to the securing of outline planning consent on the site for seven town houses.

Fairhurst Estates puchased a development site in Norwich with a view to obtaining planning consent for a new development. On a temporary basis the site was let out as a hand car wash whilst negotiations took place with the local planning authority, Planning consent was duly obtained for a new 4,000 sq ft Motorist Centre. Fairhurst Estates directly marketed the site and received a good level of interest, eventually agreeing terms with National Tyres and Autocare to lease the premises for a term of 15 years. The project commenced on site in March 2009 with the demolition of the existing building. At the present time the site is being prepared for the foundations and slab with practical completion of the building scheduled for the end of June 2009. In addition to owning the site FEL is project managing the development, demonstrating an ability to manage new bulid projects.

Fairhurst Estates in conjunction with Consensus Planning have successfully negotiated a planning consent to redevelop the former Bridge Motors site in Banbury into a 24 flat residential development. Having acquired the vacant property back in June 2005 on behalf of retained clients Condie Investments Ltd, Fairhurst Estates successfully negotiated the consent that will see the former Vauxhall dealership transformed into a mixture of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Fairhurst Estates is now working and advising Condie on the remediation of the site and demolition of the existing structure.
