National Tyres and Autocare, one of the UK’s leading roadside garages, have tasked Fairhurst Estates with designing new proposals for a collection of branches with an overall goal to enhance the curb side appeal and whole customer experience.

Following initial surveys of the sites, recommendations and design layout proposals were submitted by Fairhurst Estates’ skilled team of Building Surveyors and Project Managers, who also had the tricky task of project managing the works whilst the sites remained open, so as not to affect trade.  Despite this challenge, Fairhurst Estates are pleased to announce the first site refurbishment is now complete.

Refurbishment works to National Tyres and Autocare Crewe began in early September 2018 and just four weeks later the branch had a brand-new reception, incorporating an office for staff to assess MOT’s and complete general day to day office tasks, along with a waiting area created with the customer in mind and the idea that they could relax and enjoy a coffee in comfort whilst they wait.

Redecoration to the exterior of the branch was a necessity, with a brand-new sleek grey colour scheme which allows for the modern signage to be highlighted and grab the attention of passers-by.

Of course, the all-important branch staff were not forgotten in this process and received a refurbished staff mess area and upgraded sanitary suite.  A second office to be used by the Divisional Manager was also incorporated along with a complete redecoration to the workshop with state-of-the-art, high specification LED lighting, installed for those fast-approaching long and dark winter days.

The conclusion of this project marks the first significant development of the suite of National Tyres and Autocare branches throughout the UK and we look forward to continuing to provide a quality service for a well-respected client.

NTS Crewe was Project Managed by Jonathan Radcliffe of Fairhurst Estates.
